What accreditation does the DISK have?
DISK is an IB World school. It is authorized by the International Baccalaureate to offer the Diploma Program, an academically challenging and balanced programme of education that prepares students, normally aged 16 to 19, for success at university level. DISK class sizes are generally small with an average of 3-10 students in each class.

Our curriculum is not based on a particular country. We offer a seamless international curriculum of the highest standard globally, allowing our students to pursue their education anywhere in the world.

DISK does not have a dormitory.
Do you offer transportation to and from school?
School buses run to and from the nearby train stations of: JR Hosono, Kintetsu Shin-Hosono, and Kintetsu Tomigaoka.

What are the school hours?
School hours are 8:30 to 15:30. Extracurricular clubs are offered from 15:35 to 16:25.
Are there dining facilities?
DISK students eat in their homeroom. DISK does not have a cafeteria.
What facilities does DISK have?
DISK is housed in a purpose-built facility. With great attention to detail, DIA facilities were built to provide flexible and safe learning environments for our students. The building houses fully equipped art rooms, music rooms, a fully air conditioned and heated gymnasium, library, chapel, science labs and classrooms with interactive whiteboards.
