Learning Support
The learning support at DISK upholds the principles of a balanced education rooted in the firm belief in inclusion. Academic excellence is reflected in our philosophy of supporting and celebrating the diversity of learning needs within the school community.
The goal of the school is to support student needs adequately. With this in mind, individual students are provided time during the week to work with a learning support teacher. Diagnostic screenings and assessments are some of the ways in helping us determine the level of support required and the possibility of meeting those needs.
