Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)
Assessment is central to achieving our aim of catering to individual needs and helping students achieve their personal best. It helps teachers identify where students are in their current learning and where best to direct future learning. The information gathered from regular assessments is used to adapt learning programs and to scaffold experiences that allow individuals to improve their performance.
DISK applies the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) standardized testing program. MAP tests produce a measure of a student's growth and achievement that can be measured over time from grades 6 to 10.
