Events CalendarParent's Voice'The learning environment at DISK must be pretty good because my son is always telling me how much he enjoys it. It's a pretty far commute for him, an hour and a half in each direction, but I've never heard him complain about that. Instead, he talks about how lucky he is to be exposed to nature every day and his plans for his next design project. As a parent, I'm really happy that he has found a school in which he is able to grow academically, socially, and artistically. I really appreciate how the homework assignments and projects are less about memorization and more about critical thinking and presentation skills, which are a lot more in line with real-world work these days.' |
